Fortunio Co., Ltd., established in November 2022 and based in Tokyo, develops YATA Defense, a domestically produced counter-drone system that protects critical infrastructure, public facilities and event venues from unauthorized drone flights.
Detection is fully passive: the system emits no radio waves of its own and identifies only signals specific to drones, so it works in all weather at ranges of up to 25 km while its own installation point remains undetected.
Neutralization uses our proprietary ICD (Intelligent Communication Disruption) technology, which cuts the control link and positioning signals at a maximum output of only 2 W, with negligible impact on people or nearby communication equipment.
The unit weighs about 3 kg, runs for roughly three weeks from a vehicle\'s 12 V supply and operates from -20 to 60 degrees C.
Production and maintenance are handled in Japan.
